Reported speech dipake buat *nyampein apa yang orang lain bilang* tanpa ngulang kata-katanya persis. Biasanya kita ubah tenses, pronoun, dan waktu biar nyesuaiin konteks.

📌 *Langsung (Direct Speech)*

👉 Dia bilang persis kata-katanya.

*She said, "I am tired."*

→ Dia bilang, “Aku cape.”

📌 *Tidak langsung (Reported Speech)*

👉 Maknanya sama, tapi diubah jadi kalimat biasa.

*She said (that) she was tired.*

→ Dia bilang kalau dia cape.

* *am/is → was*

  Contoh: "I am happy" → She said she was happy

* *are → were*

  Contoh: "You are late" → He said I were late

* *do/does → did*

  Contoh: "Do you like it?" → He asked if I liked it

* *have/has → had*

  Contoh: "I have seen it" → She said she had seen it

* *will → would*

  Contoh: "I will go" → He said he would go

* *can → could*

  Contoh: "I can swim" → She said she could swim
