Supaya lancar bahasa Inggris, kamu harus mahir dalam dua gaya penyampai pesan: Direct Speech (kata langsung) dan Indirect Speech (hasil laporan/bersangkut). Ini penting banget buat grammar & komunikasi.

📌 Direct speech = kutipan langsung:

He said, “I will go to school.”

She asked, “Are you coming?”

📍 Indirect speech = kata tidak langsung:

He said that he would go to school.

She asked if I was coming.

🔄 Aturan perubahan umum:

“will” → “would”

“am/is/are” → “was/were”

“have” → “had”, “can” → “could”

Tenses maju satu level

Ada perubahan kata tanya (where → where, but with if/whether)

🧠 Contoh konversi:

Direct: “I am tired,” she said.

Indirect: She said (that) she was tired.

🎯 Tips menjawab:

Kalau ada kutipan langsung maka itu Direct Speech

Kalau pakai “that” atau “asked if/whether”, itu Indirect Speech

📝 Soal Bahasa Inggris:

Kalimat indirect speech dari:

He said, “I can help you.”

💛 He said he can help me.

💙 He said he could help me.

❤️ He said that he will help me.

💚 He said whether he can help me.

✅ Jawaban: 💙 He said he could help me.

Karena “can” berubah jadi “could” saat dialihkan ke indirect speech ✅

Soal Bahasa Inggris

Direct speech: He said, “I will meet you tomorrow.” → Reported speech yang benar:

💛 He said that he will meet me tomorrow.

💙 He said that he would meet me the next day.

❤️ He said that he will meet me the next day.

💚 He says that he would meet me the next day.

✅ Jawaban: 💙 He said that he would meet me the next day.

Karena tenses berubah dari "will" → "would" dan "tomorrow" → "the next day".
