Kalau kamu mau menyampaikan perkataan orang lain, kamu harus ubah tense-nya. Ini namanya reported speech (kalimat tidak langsung).

📌 Perubahan tense utama:

Present simple → Past simple

“I read this” → He said he read that.

Present continuous → Past continuous

“I am reading” → She said she was reading.

Will → Would

“I will come” → He said he would come.

📍 Jangan lupa ubah kata keterangan waktu:

now → then

today → that day

tomorrow → the next day / the following day

Bisa membedakan antara kata langsung dan tidak langsung

Latihan menghafal pola perubahan tense

Mampu menyusun kembali kalimat sesuai logika waktu

Kalimat tidak langsung mana yang benar dari “She said, ‘I am happy now.’”?

✅ Jawaban: 💙

➡️ “am” berubah ke “was”, “now” jadi “then”, sehingga: She said she was happy then. ✅
